The Redesigning Health Information for Parents (ReHIP) project, led by NHS Health Scotland, is in an exciting product development and transition phase, since agreeing our Channel Mix Strategy – a transition to a “Digital first but not only” strategy – in May 2017.
Thank you to the enthusiastic group of midwives and health professionals who participated in our ReHip focus groups at last year’s Scottish Maternity and Midwifery Festival. They helped shape the design concepts for the redesign of Ready Steady Baby! which will be available to order from NHS Boards in Scotland from the 1st March 2018.
The views will also feed into the redesign of Ready Steady Toddler!, which will now need a new name as it will have a changed in scope to cover 8 weeks to 30 months.
We are interested in hearing from midwives working in the antenatal period, who could help us involve expectant mums in the redesign, by gaining their views on the design concepts and Safe Sleep messages for the new products.
If you could help us ensure parent’s views are at the heart of the redesign or would like to chat about our co-production approach, please drop firstname.lastname@example.org a line.
There are 12 work packages including co-production with parents; content management; workforce development; transition to exit the Ready Steady Baby app and development of mobile responsive web content; reviewing easy read options and making decisions about the future of smaller resources in scope.
Please contact email@example.com for further details or if you have any questions about the project.
