LIVE STREAM: Wales & South West Maternity & Midwifery Festival 2020

Welcome to the Wales and South West Maternity & Midwifery Online Festival!

With 600,000 babies born each year, midwives aren’t about to let COVID-19 stop them in their tracks.

We might not be able to come together in Wales but to celebrate and share knowledge, to network and recharge our batteries, but we’ve got the next best thing.

The Wales and South West Maternity and Midwifery Festival will be live streamed on this page on Wednesday 16 September. A day of leadership, education and clinical updates to keep you abreast of latest developments and innovations at the click of a mouse.

The Live Stream

The programme commences at 09.00 and the live stream will play below from 08.55 on Wednesday 16th September. Please sign in with your email to verify your identity and ensure we are able to send you your certificate of participation.

At 12:20 we have a special 1 hour workshop on “The development of a trauma informed maternity services programme through improving workplace culture” presented by Lucy Marks & Jane Gibbons, Independent Consultants, Clinical Psychology. This workshop will be hosted on a separate Zoom link and is only available to the first 30 participants who join. Click here to join this workshop from 12:15 (you will be held in a waiting room prior to entry).

We recommend using Google Chrome (PC) or Safari (Mac) as your browser to view this live stream and participate in the chat.

To view the chat function, please log in to chat as a guest. This will enable you to ask questions and discuss the issues raised with other viewers.
