The world is a very different place to when we last met in London. COVID-19 has tested health services and the staff who work across the NHS, to the limit. Midwives and their colleagues have had to show tremendous resilience and innovation to continue to meet the needs of pregnant women throughout.
The London 2021 Festival will be a time to reflect on lessons learned but also to spotlight all the other fantastic work that has continued over this period, despite the demands the virus has inflicted.
Pandemic permitting, alongside our live stream we also aim to run a number of socially distanced festival hubs, giving healthcare professionals the opportunity to come together in small groups to share experiences, to network and to watch the presentations.
However, as always, the festival will also be live streamed so you can book with confidence, knowing that your festival will go ahead in all circumstances live on the day, with a full boxset available to view on demand afterwards so that you have a lasting record of all the fantastic video presentations from the day.
This festival will offer a top quality professional programme, including England’s Chief Midwifery Officer, and a great opportunity for organisations looking to showcase their products and campaigns to our influential live and online audiences.
Expect expert speakers, engaging seminars, plus our trademark, glitzy awards – all of which can count towards your continuing professional development.
The London 2020 Festival attracted over 620 midwifery and allied healthcare professionals in London and over 695 watched the live stream from all over the UK and, indeed, internationally.
