The 2nd Wales & SW Maternity & Midwifery Festival & Awards take place in Cardiff on Wednesday 18th September 2019.

The fourth in our 2019 series of 5 regional and national festivals will be returning to Cardiff City Stadium this summer – the perfect venue to accommodate the growing demand for places both from healthcare professionals wanting to take advantage of a top quality, professional programme and organisations looking to showcase their products and campaigns to our influential audience.

Over 900 healthcare professionals have already registered for this summer’s festival in Wales and we are looking forward to building on its success in 2019 and beyond.

Wales & SW Maternity & Midwifery Festival is your chance to:

  • Keep up to date with the latest innovations and issues in maternity and midwifery
  • Hear leading speakers from Wales, the South West of England and further afield
  • Gain hours of credits for professional revalidation
  • Get a free ‘box set’ of all the video, podcasts and presentations from the clinical programme as an educational resource
  • Gain a certificate of attendance for up to 10 hours of participatory learning for revalidation and CPD

After the Festival, every delegate receives, free of charge, the full box set of films and podcasts from the day – over 10 hours of professional content to inform their practice and learning.

Our 2019 events will build on previous year’s festivals, making them more inclusive than ever, with new studio streams for neonatal and practice nurses, health visitors and paediatric nurses.

Many of these videos can now been seen on our new Maternity and Midwifery Forum YouTube channel and our videos are now viewed in 134 countries.
