Here’s what visitors to the recent Scottish Maternity & Midwifery Festival 2017 had to say:

“Excellent! Really good that this event is free as, with wages frozen for years and few opportunities to get high quality CPD in Scotland, this ticked all the boxes. Thanks!”
Community Midwife, Greater Glasgow Community Health Board

“So grateful for this day, you have given us so much info to gain confidence to practice and reflect effectively”
Neonatal Midwife, NHS Grampian

“Enjoyable + enriching + restoring of faith in future of midwifery in Scotland”
Midwife, NHS Tayside

“Thank you for a very enjoyable and educational day. It met and exceeded my expectations”
Staff Nurse, NHS

“A very interesting, informative and well-run day in a good central location. Excellent that the event is free to all to attend”
Graduate Midwife

Professor Mary Nolan at the Wales & SW Festival in 2017

“Great event, will be attending again in the future!” Student Midwife, Napier University

The Wales & South West Maternity & Midwifery Festival 2018 takes place in Cardiff on Thursday 20th September.

A professional festival, with leadership speakers and exhibition, highlighting developments in maternity and midwifery across Wales and the South West.

Bringing together not just our core clinical programme, focussing on practice, clinical insight, education, management and innovation, but also our exciting new ‘fringe’ activities and studio events.

The Wales & SW Maternity & Midwifery Festival 2018 is your chance to:

  • Keep up to date with the latest innovations and issues in maternity and midwifery
  • Hear leading speakers from Wales, the South West and further afield
  • Gain hours of credits for professional revalidation

You’ll get to take away:

  • A free ‘box set’ of all the video, podcasts and presentations from the clinical programme as an educational resource
  • A certificate for up to 10 hours of participatory learning for revalidation and CPD

The full programme is recorded and made available to those who have registered.

Celebrate and highlight your trust, unit or college trailblazers and innovators.

Maternity & Midwifery Forum events are attended by midwives and healthcare professionals from across the UK. Here’s just what a few of them had to say about these informative and useful series of midwifery events.
