Talaso is a lecturer at Kenyatta University-Nairobi-Kenya. She teaches in both general nursing and midwifery. Her first degree from Curtin University of Technology-Australia (Bachelor of Nursing Sciences). Masters in Nursing Education-University of Nairobi-Kenya. Talaso also has strong passion for maternal health issues especially among ethnic minority, which has led to pursuing PhD in maternal health issues. She is exploring pastoralist women antenatal care experiences, an ethnographic study in Northern part of Kenya at the University of Nottingham-UK.
She has published in African Journal of Midwifery and Women Health. Apart from academic life, Talaso like nature walks, camping and travelling.
