The National Breastfeeding Helpline provides independent, evidence based, mother centred, non judgemental, confidential breastfeeding information, reassurance and support.
We’re here for mums on their breastfeeding journeys, whether they want to breastfeed for one day, one week, one month, one year or longer. Partners, grandparents, friends and healthcare professionals are all welcome to call us too.
We are open 365 days a year from 9.30am-9.30pm on 0300 100 0212. We also offer support in Welsh and Polish, and offer a web chat service at bit.ly/NBHChat
All calls to the helpline are answered by highly trained volunteers, who are also mums who have breastfed. All volunteers are trained and supported by registered charities, the Association of Breastfeeding Mothers and the Breastfeeding Network.
The National Breastfeeding Helpline is funded by Public Health England and the Scottish Government.
