Human Centred Designer and Researcher
Anisha is a human centred designer and researcher, combining her technical foundation in engineering with design thinking to contribute to innovation in healthcare.
Anisha graduated from Imperial College London with a BEng in Mechanical Engineering before completing her double MA/MSc masters in Innovation Design Engineering with both Imperial College London and the Royal College of Art.
She currently works as a Research Associate at the Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design on ‘Call the Midwife’: a project exploring the future of midwifery and maternal care in the antenatal community setting.
Her focus is on the future of millennial maternal care. Good preparation, continuity of care and trust (NHS Better Births 2016) give women the best set up for a successful birth. Given it will not be a quick journey to full continuity, her aim is to create something which will create a pathway from the current system to the ideal.
