Jo started working in the NHS in 2004 in Patient and Public Involvement which is when her passion for co-designing services began. She completed the NHS Graduate Management Training Scheme in 2007, after which she gained her first substantive management role in service improvement at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust. From 2008-2015 she was service improvement lead at Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust before re-joining Airedale as Head of Quality Improvement. Jo has facilitated many service improvement projects using experience based service design as the central methodology.
