Olivia Lowe completed her adult nursing training in 2005 and her midwifery training in 2007 at Napier University, Edinburgh.
She briefly worked in the neonatal unit at Derby Hospitals before obtaining her first midwifery post at Kings Mill Hospital, Nottinghamshire.
In 2009 Olivia joined Hampshire hospitals as a core hospital midwife. In 2010 she went to rural Pakistan with Medecins Sans Frontieres for 3 months to manage a stand-alone birth centre. On returning she worked in the Royal Berkshire Hospital, and was part of the team heading up the new birth centre and dedicated triage line.
In 2013 she rejoined Hampshire hospitals and has worked on labourline since its opening.
