Free to attend, regional professional development forums for midwives and student midwives wishing to update their skills and knowledge around key issues, including antenatal and postnatal care, labour and care of the newborn. These events attract high level, professional content and speakers with a large exhibition offering the latest products, launches and careers opportunities. Over 700 midwives, student midwives and allied healthcare professionals attended our Maternity, Midwifery and Baby London 2015 Forum in July hearing from eminent speakers, including Professor Jacqueline Dunkley Bent and Stephanie Michaelides, whose presentations are now available free on demand to all healthcare professionals. These free to attend, professional study days continue to grow in popularity, for midwives as a way of updating professional development portfolios and as a vehicle for organisations and companies to engage with our large professional audience.

Really enjoyed the day. Can’t believe I didn’t have to pay and we can access presentations online. Makes is so much more enjoyable not to worry about dashing down notes and trying to concentrate on the speaker at the same time. Pamela Freer, Midwife, Falkland Islands Government
My first time of attending a MMB event. Very informative, well organised, met and made new acquaintances, learned about new products available for pregnant and breastfeeding mums. Fonloveline Petiamboh-Pekeleke , Midwife, Barts Health
Absolutely fantastic - cannot believe it was free, especially considering the quality of the speakers. Laura Hynd, University of Leeds
