NHS Health Scotland
NHS Health Scotland’s vision is a Scotland in which all of its people and communities have a fairer share of the opportunities, resources and confidence to live longer, healthier lives. Our primary role is to work with others to produce, share and implement knowledge of what works to improve the health of the people of Scotland in a fair and equitable way. Our strategic framework for action; ‘A Fairer Healthier Scotland 2017–22’ sets out how we will do this and continue in our mission to reduce health inequalities and improve the health of the population of Scotland.
We share our ambition for a fairer, healthier Scotland with many organisations and individuals across the public, third and private sectors. We know that we cannot deliver a fairer and healthier Scotland alone.
Roche Diagnostics gives you The Power of Knowing that you're using accurate information to make the right decisions today, so your patients can experience a healthier tomorrow. The latest additions to this portfolio are Harmony non-invasive prenatal testing (formerly of Ariosa Diagnostics) and the sFlt/PlGF ratio test for the diagnosis and short term prediction of pre-eclampsia.

We retain our characteristic qualities, with regular advancing practice, midwifery basics, evidence series and pertinent articles, but you will find us at the forefront of innovation in the areas we cover. Our readers tell us that TPM is quite simply the best journal for staying informed in an eminently readable form.

A baby’s skin is much more delicate than your own. So it should be cleaned with only the gentlest and purest elements possible. WaterWipes are the only wipes made with just water, specially purified and softened, and a tiny drop of grapefruit seed extract. WaterWipes are as pure as cotton wool and water but in the convenience of a wipe.
WaterWipes have been carefully designed to be gentle on babies’ sensitive skin. They are the only wipes that contain 99.9% water and a drop of grapefruit seed extract – a natural skin conditioner. WaterWipes don’t irritate the skin and are safe for use on sensitive skin. WaterWipes are the only baby wipe to ever be approved by Allergy UK and The National Eczema Association of America.
Because of this, 97% of midwives believe that WaterWipes are suitable to be used on the skin of newborn babies.*

Cytomegalovirus (CMV) is a common infection that can infect people of all ages, usually with no long-term effects. CMV Action is a small, but dynamic, UK registered charity raising public awareness of cCMV and campaigning for better prevention measures within our health service. We are firmly committed to limiting the devastating impact of this virus for those currently affected and for future generations.
