Midwives and other maternity healthcare professionals are at the forefront of caring for and safeguarding the wellbeing of mothers and babies.  And the NMC’s new revalidation requirements mean that keeping up to date with the latest developments in healthcare policy and clinical practice is a key part of this role.

Maternity, Midwifery and Baby is a multi-regional professional development forum for midwives, health visitors and other allied healthcare professionals interested in updating their skills and knowledge around key issues in the sector.

The broadcast conference series attracts high level, professional content and speakers and compliments the large exhibition offering the latest products, launches and careers opportunities.

Over the course of 2016, we’ve welcomed over 5,500 registered attendees at the venue and as part of our online community.

Maternity & Midwifery Forum Birmingham saw a more than 20% rise in the number of active professional delegates, with over 700 attending in person and further 1200 registered practitioners for and engaging with our pre and post videos and event educational content.

Maternity & Midwifery Forum Manchester 2016 has seen a 46% rise in the number of companies and organisations supporting the event.

Attendees to the forum included specialist nurses, midwives, student midwives, obstetricians, health visitors, heads of services as well as maternity and midwifery management teams.
